Landfill binders

Landfill binder is produced by the separate grinding and mixing of Portland cement clinker (EN 197), granulated slag (EN 197), filler in line with EN 197 and mineral additives. Landfill binder consists of hydraulically responsive components.

Landfill binder stabilises liquid, pasty and solid waste, such as

• sludge from industry and municipalities
• sludge from wet dust separation and sand traps
• electroplating and hydroxide sludge
• construction waste from asbestos disposal
• contaminated soils
• residues from flue gas cleaning
• dusts

with the goal of ensuring safe deposit in landfills.

• Minimise landfill costs
• Allows waste to be discarded and transported

Landfill binder is delivered as bulk in silo lorries.
