CEM III/A 42.5 N (na) is a blast-furnace slag cement in accordance with DIN EN 197-1. It is produced from Portland cement clinker, granulated slag and setting regulator.

Blast-furnace slag cement CEM III/A 42.5 N (na) is primarily used to produce ready-mixed concrete.

  • Ideal for building construction and civil engineering (e.g. bridge superstructures) due to the moderate hydration heat development
  • Long curing times and a low hydration heat development make concreting easier, e.g. for floor slabs in the summer
  • Suitable as a summer cement thanks to the moderate early strength development
  • Suitable for alkali-sensitive aggregates
  • Enables greater flexibility in the selection of aggregates

CEM III/A 42.5 N (na) is delivered as bulk in silo lorries.
