CEM I 42.5 N is a Portland cement in accordance with DIN EN 197-1. It is produced from Portland cement clinker and setting regulator.

CEM I 42.5 N is primarily used to produce ready-mixed concrete, concrete products as well as plaster and mortar products. The cement is ideal for concreting in cooler conditions.

  • Suitable as a winter cement thanks to its good early strength development
  • Reduces stripping times during winter concreting
  • Ideal for exposed concreting work in the summer thanks to the good early strength development
  • Perfect for building construction and civil engineering structures (e.g. bridge superstructures) thanks to the moderate hydration heat development

CEM I 42.5 N is delivered as bulk in silo lorries.
