The thomas gruppe expands the Concrete Components division in Baden-Württemberg
Offenau, Georgensgmünd, Simmern/Hunsrück 30/01/2019: On 01/02/2019, thomas betonbauteile Georgensgmünd GmbH & Co. KG takes over ERATH Betonwerk Betonfertigteile Baustahl GmbH in Offenau near Heilbronn. The plant produces prefabricated ceilings, double walls, staircases and prefabricated parts primarily for residential construction and operates a steel trading centre/reinforcement shop.

KG is part of the medium-sized thomas gruppe, which owns 25 concrete components plants throughout Germany as well as in Poland and Denmark. “The plant in Offenau complements the plants in Crailsheim and Georgensgmünd and will strengthen our market penetration in Baden-Württemberg,” explains Eckhardt Thomas, Managing Partner of the thomas gruppe. “I would like to thank the Hau family for entrusting us with the company after 120 years of family ownership.” The former owners will continue to work with the company.
